Testimonials
The Peel Regional Police Association switched to Zare Paralegal five years ago and we could not be happier with the change. Michelle and her team are very knowledgeable and provide excellent service to our Members. Their billing is extremely fair and transparent. Michelle always makes herself available to consult on unique matters and her expertise and guidance is valued and appreciated.

Michelle Zare of Zare Paralegal is the “only” firm we trust to address issues that arise when our members encounter difficulty navigating the complex world of WSIB. Her reputation as a knowledgeable, competent professional is well earned and deserved. She can be counted on to handle a case with the utmost care, compassion and diligence.
Her success rate on appeals is quite impressive and as an Association representing over 700 members, we are honoured to recommend her to others requiring her expertise.

The American Heritage Dictionary defines distinguished as, “characterized by excellence or distinction.” I can’t think of a more befitting way to describe Michelle.
Through her work with our organization and our membership Michelle elevates the status of paralegal through her professionalism. I have full confidence in Michelle’s work and capabilities such that I routinely make a referral to a Member and give her full rein to deal with whatever issues need to be resolved. I have made multiple references to other police associations regarding Michelle’s capabilities. Michelle has been called upon multiple times to make presentations to the Police Association of Ontario imparting her expertise and knowledge to instruct police association leaders. Michelle’s service to the policing community includes speaking of her own volition and on her own time to support groups including some of the most vulnerable 1st responders. She routinely responds to requests and advocates outside working hours. In November of this year the London Police Association awarded Michelle the Bruce Burnham Award, our highest community partner award, which is given to someone who provides “exceptional service and dedication above and beyond the call.”
We routinely hear the praises of Michelle’s work from our Members whom she has assisted. Quite simply, I am confident that Michelle’s work, compassion and advocacy has improved the health and quality of life of a great many of my Members, friends and even family.

I have the pleasure of working with Zare Paralegal Services since February 2023. From day one I was completely impressed with the exceptional service, professionalism and attention to detail they provided to me. Efficient, speedy and a commitment to excellent service, as a client I received complete satisfaction.
I contacted Michelle Zare because my plate was over flowing and the stress levels I was dealing with had over whelmed me. I normally deal with WSIB cases by myself but this time I needed help. The issue was never about the money, I needed to know I was going to be treated fairly by WSIB and Zare Paralegal Services did that. By taking over my case they became part of the team that helped me concentrate completely with my healing back to health.
Michelle Zare along with Nicole Sun (law clerk) and Maggie Kam (paralegal) which I worked with at Zare Paralegal Services are extremely highly skilled and go above and beyond to what I expected. They truly care for the client. Their skills in the ability to know which legal documents and procedures were impressive and made a big difference in the final outcome with my case.
The offices skill in communication is another high level skill they have. They were always prompt and clear with keeping me up to date with the progress of my case. The professionalism shown by Zare Paralegal Services is second to none, none better.
Zare Paralegal Services had integrity and incredible level of ethics. I have complete confidence with all the employees at Zare Paralegal Services.
In closing, they gave me peace of mind and the ability to concentrate on myself. They exceeded my expectations in expertise, dedication and efficiency and are not only my legal team; they are also indirectly part of my medical team as they gave me the time to heal as they fought for my rights. With them it’s not solely about the money, it’s about the clients rights, health and wellbeing. I recommend Zare Paralegal Services with my whole heart to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable, high standards legal firm.

Michelle Zare is a leader in the advocacy for injured workers in Ontario. Using her knowledge and experience, the HPA relies on Michelle to review each of our members files and educates the member on process. Members appreciate Michelle because she listens and gives each member a voice. Michelle treats every member with compassion and takes the time to truly understand the members concerns.
In my role as President of the HPA, Michelle is a phenomenal resource for my Board. By offering training and information to my Board and staff, Michelle points out concerns with the WSIB process to encourage the HPA to advocate for change to better support our membership.
What impresses me most about Michelle is her dedication to her profession. Michelle seeks out opportunities to network with medical practitioners, researchers and community support groups to ensure she is aware of trends in the industry. Creating these connections keeps Michelle at the top of her profession and a step ahead. Her commitment to deliver the highest level of care for her clients is proven in her community and professional involvement.
Thank you Michelle, for the important work you do. On behalf of my membership, thank you for supporting our members and helping us create the necessary changes to support our members.

I am a first responder and have been dealing with WSIB for the better part of 12 years after a work place injury.
Michelle Zare truly is my guardian angel! Her constant support and patience are what got me through some of the darkest times of my life. Her compassion in dealing with my anxiety and PTSD will never be forgotten.
Michelle was there for me during every step of the WSIB process. She always made herself available anytime I had questions or concerns.
Michelle and her awesome team are a wealth of knowledge and expertise. She stood by me and fought for me all these years. Michelle appealed my claim resulting is a successful tribunal outcome.
There is no one I would trust more than Michelle Zare and her team. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone navigating the WSIB process.

Michelle has been providing our members with WSIB advocacy since 2015. She has demonstrated an exceptional understanding of WSIB Policy and process which she is second to none. She provides her representation with vigor and passion and always seems to be two steps ahead of the WSIB. Her record speaks for itself at both at ARO appeals level as well as at WSIAT hearings in which she has attained a higher than ninety percent success rate for the Hamilton Police Association members.
Michelle can walk members through the process of appeals and preparation for appeals and testimony with empathy and integrity that provides assurance and confidence to our members. I have been in the Labour Relations field for thirty years both in the private and public sectors and I can confidently say that Michelle is the best in the business. In the policing world she is considered the leader and go to firm for WSIB representation across the province and regularly is an expert speaker at labour conferences for Association leaders across the Province.
I have always believed the measure of success is based on how our work impacts peoples lives and changes it for the better. Michelle’s ability to fight for our members when they are at their most vulnerable state facing significant financial and emotional hardships and life changing consequences is when she is at her best. She has positively impacted countless members lives because of her exemplary advocacy and in that regard is has achieved true success.
