About Us
Standing Strong for Injured Workers.
We understand your pain. Founded in 2009, Zare Paralegal Services Professional Corporation is dedicated to the advocacy of injured and disabled individuals across Southern Ontario.
This firm was established by Michelle Zare, a licensed Paralegal with over a decade of experience in the field of WSIB law. With an educational background in social justice, Michelle started her practice with a vision to provide guidance and assistance to those who cannot advocate for themselves – social justice in action. However, she does not do it alone! Michelle has a stellar team of licensed paralegals, as well as support staff, who work together to manage our clients’ matters effectively. More importantly, each member of the team shares Michelle’s dedication and vision when it comes to the clients we serve. We understand how stressful the experience of a work injury can be. Every case is personal for us, and at Zare Paralegal Services, you are never just a claim number.
Our office is located on the second floor of the Landmark Building, and is accessible, with a wheelchair accessible entrance to the building, and elevator access to our floor. We welcome individuals who use assistive devices or who are accompanied by a service animal or a support person. We offer free consultations, and evening and weekend appointments by request. Please contact our office if you have any specific accommodation needs, and we will strive to assist you as best we can in this regard.

Michelle Zare
Paralegal and Founder
Michelle Zare established this firm in 2009, driven by her passion for advocacy and justice. Zare Paralegal Services is a paralegal firm dedicated to defending the rights of injured workers. As a licensed Paralegal, Michelle has extensive experience with appeals before the WSIB Appeals Services Division, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal (WSIAT), and CPP Disability Appeals before the Social Security Tribunal. She has a particular interest and specialty in WSIB claims involving psychological injuries such as chronic mental stress and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. A portion of her caseload is dedicated to representing First Responders.
Michelle has a love for the law and stays on top of the developments in the ever-evolving world of WSIB jurisprudence. She is involved in ongoing professional development by chairing and speaking at conferences through the Law Society of Ontario, specific to the issues of Ethics and Professionalism and WSIB law. She also regularly speaks at conferences held by the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Ontario Bar Association. More recently, Michelle has joined the faculty in the Paralegal Program at Mohawk College as a part-time professor.
In 2013, Michelle was a recipient of the First Ontario Small Business 1Award, and was recognized as one of Hamilton’s Top 40 Under 40 for Business Achievement in 2015. Zare Paralegal Services has also been voted as Hamilton’s Best Paralegal Firm in the Hamilton Spectator’s Readers’ Choice Awards.
Michelle strongly believes in supporting First Responders, to give back and recognize their service to our communities. She is a proud sponsor of Boots on the Ground, an organization that provides peer support to First Responders across Ontario.
For Michelle, there is nothing more rewarding than the ability to “right the wrongs”, and help her clients regain the rights and dignity they deserve. Never afraid to speak up against injustice, Michelle stands strong for injured workers across Ontario.
